Aloha from Aloha Shrine.

Well we missed our April 1st deadline for the Wa’ha but we are diligently working on it. The past Potentates Night was a hoot.  I don’t know about all of the attendees but I really had a good time.  Most of the comments were favorable and followed along the lines of “I haven’t had this much fun at a Shrine event in years”.  With the Western Shrine Association meeting in San Diego running from April 16 through April 19 and other meeting commitments the next social function for the Shrine will be on May 18th following the Cold Sands scheduled for May 17th.

We will be holding a combined Sweethearts Brunch to honor our widows and ladies and the fezzing of our new nobles.  The widows and the new nobles and their families will be the guests of Aloha Shrine for  the Brunch on May 18, 2008 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Our website is developing and tremendous improvement has materialized in the last month.  We will continue to update and enhance its functions as we progress.  Your input is needed for what you would like to see.  My email is karvel.rose@hawaiiantel.net

Again, for those of you that are not aware, Aloha Shrine has a beautiful facility at Waimanalo Beach.  If your Temple is contemplating a caravan to Hawaii, you might want to arrange a luau at the Beach Club.  Arrangements can be made by contacting Aloha Temple at 1-808-536-9333 or e-mail alohatem@hawaiiantel.net.
